Video Editing for the K-12 Classroom Who doesn't love watching a video? We share video clips through email with our friends and coworkers, we see students scanning youtube and google video, you may have even seen a version of the "Did you know?" video at your school. Any way you look at it, digital videos are an engaging and entertaining form of multimedia. As teachers, we can utilize this tool to facilitate 21st century problem solving, creativity, and collaboration skills while promoting project based learning. Scroll down for more information.

To create a digital movie:

1. Capture video or images
2. Import video into video editing program (we will be using Movie Maker)
3. Edit the Video (cut and sort clips, add sound or music, add transitions & title clips)
4. Save and export (CD or movie file)
